PERFORMERS The majority of our performances are either special monthly shows hosted by some of the most talented comedians in Philly, or feature PHIT House Teams - hugely talented improvisers and graduates of our Training Center or others around the country who perform every Saturday night.
PHIT House Teams Philly Improv Theater's own high-powered improv super groups - composed of PHIT Training Center graduates and improv superstars with training from around the country - our resident ensembles hit the stage every Saturday night to amaze comedy fans with brand new improv shows that have never been seen before and will never be seen again. Inspired by a single suggestion you the audience provide, you'll be taken on a fantastic (or possibly depraved) journey that is never the same twice. PHIT Shows & Show Hosts In addition to provided great improv comedy from our house teams, PHIT also hosts a variety of alternative comedy shows each month - featuring some of the city's most talented comedians and their favorite performers. Our shows may be your chance to see the next big star before they're famous... or they may just be a great night out at our BYOB theater, just off of Philly's famous South Street.
