D.C. Fisher

Performer Independent Group Performer

Originally from Lancaster, PA, D.C. Fisher is the head writer for HIGH DRAMMA and has been writing and acting in sketch comedy groups for ten years. His comedy heroes include Ernie Kovacs, John Swartzwelder, Chuck Barris, Groucho Marx and Phil Hartman. He is particularly interested in comedy from 1930-1960 (Those exact years! Not a day sooner or later!), anything excessively British and needlessly violent and profane, and discovering the most meaningless and obscure bit of Simpson’s trivia so he can brag to his friends about knowing it.

Outside of comedy, D.C. works as a website manager in an office that is 10x less professional and mature than any sketch comedy group alive today. He enjoys reading anything by Samuel Beckett, Charles Bukowski, Annie Proulx and Chester Himes, discussing defunct college football bowl games, and planning for his upcoming days living as a hermit or a recluse - he hasn‘t decided. He has a depressingly unironic love of Big Band music. His hobbies include sloth and gluttony. D.C. was once 23.
