Jason Stockdale is an improvisor in the Greater Philadelphia arena. He can be caught most often doing short form games with ComedySportz Philadelphia. At PHIT he performs with Resident Group Activity Book. He is also a member of Choosical!, the improvised musical, and Bad Hair sketch comedy. He has studied under such Philly improv luminaries as Kelly Jennings, Mary Carpenter, and Mike Young.
Jason has been involved in professional theatre for over 15 years, working locally with Arden Theatre Company, Enchantment Theatre, Vagabond Acting Troupe, Centre Theatre in Norristown, PA, McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ, and City Theater Company in Wilmington, DE. Favorite roles include Edgar in Bat Boy, Claude in Hair!, Jamie Lockhart in The Robber Bridegroom, and Juliet et al in The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (abridged). He has also written two plays for families, The Fish and the Ring and Aesop Soup. Recently he has been blessed to work with 1812 Productions, Philly’s all-comedy theatre.
Jason performed for years as a member of the Drama Gills at the New Jersey State Aquarium, and still yuks it up with the Phillie Phanatic as a member of the Phillies Phanstormers. In addition, he has many other jobs that can be called hobbies and hobbies that can be called jobs.
