Rob Cutler

 

Rob Cutler House Team Performer

Rob Cutler is a member of PHIT House team Hey Rube! and an alumnus of Everything Must Go. Rob got started with NYC based shortform group Water in a Cup in 2001, and relocated to Philly later that year. Recent Improv Credits: The N Crowd (shortform), dumdumstupiddumb, Stage Fright: An Improvised Homage to Alfred Hitchcock, Ladies and Gentlemen present: Rodgers and Hammerstein are Dead (Musical Improv), A Very Special Ladies and Gentlemen Christmas Special, Friends of Alcatraz (puppet-prov), and Adrift (NCAAF).

In addition to improv, Rob is a dedicated actor, working regularly in Philadelphia. Highlights include: Dan Rottenberg is Thinking about R@ping You, Marilyn Monroe has Sex for the Last Time with Groucho Marx (PIFA), A New Brain (Plays and Players), Take Me Out (Plays and Players), The Three Penny Opera (The Arden), Hysteria (The WIlma), The Gravedigger (Walking Fish), RAILS: The Play (Stumblegoat Productions), Superheroes Who are Super (Save the Day Productions) and Mister, Mister (Quince Productions)

Rob received early training at Rider University where he was an Acting Scholar from 2001 to 2005. Additional training credits include Matt Besser of the UCB, Greg Maughan of PHIT, Matt Holmes of Rare Bird Show, and Josh Cohen of the Jim Henson Workshop.

When not performing, Rob can be found working at Chris' Jazz Cafe, serving as the General Manager and Beverage Director. Rob spends his off time watching sports, reading the news, writing poorly, and sleeping.
